Week 1: Style Jock of the Week

This past week style was brought to new heights in the world of sports. From exclusive collections by athletes, to fashion shows and even magazine covers pro athletes in the NBA, NFL and MLB were definitely bringing their fashion A-game. It’s hard to decide the best looks from all the pro athletes, but here at Style Jock, we’ve selected the top 5 fashion-forward looks of the week.

5. DeAndre Jordan
After a tough loos to the Toronto Raptors last night, LA Clippers star DeAndre Jordan still managed to hit the Red Carpet for the 2015 American Music Awards at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles. In a black Waraire Boswell tuxedo and a matching bow tie, Jordan looked dapper and not fazed by the loss at all.

4.  Serena Williams
Serena didn’t leave anything to the imagination in this semi-sheer black Gucci gown at the 2015 Glamour Woman of the Year Awards in NYC. The 34-year old tennis champ served up a winning look paired with a leather belt, drop earrings and pointed silver pumps.

3. Kevin Durant
Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant was inducted into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame for his great contribution to the city in Tulsa. The NBA All-star accepted the honor with his family and teammates in tow and was dressed to the nines for the occasion. Durant wore a three-piece tailored suit, with a white waistcoat and matching bow tie.

2. Cam Newton

1. Demaryius Thomas
This week’s’ winning look goes to Denver Broncos Demaryius Thomas. While on the road, Thomas wore a purple flannel suit by Elevee Lifestyle. Demaryius Thomas you’re the Style Jock of the week.
