Today, Nike officially unveiled Kyrie Irving’s second signature shoe called “ Kyrie 2.” The kicks were designed around Kyrie’s unique playing style on the court.
For the All-Star point guard, Nike applied Sir Isaac Newton’s Law of Physics to his game and added some new details. It features a brand new curved midsole and outsole (the first-of-its-kind), a midfoot strap and advanced traction for speed for every angle.
The $120 shoes are set to release on December 15th with the first colourway called “Effect,” which features cool tie-tie inspired designs.
Irving gushed about the shoe release via Instagram saying, “Dreams do come true and I still feel like the kid that was trying to name and design my shoe as a grade schooler!!” What do you think of the new kicks?
