This weekend in Toronto was one of the most historic NBA All-Star weekends in recent years. Why you ask? Well, it was Kobe Bryant's last All-Star appearance, then the rebirth of dunk off contest featuring Aaron Gordon and Zach LaVine and of course the bone chilling temperatures in the 6ix.
Of course frigid temperatures call`s for layering and this weekend the NBA's best dressed rocked some pretty amazing looks despite the weather. From wide-brim hats and fur coats to statement jackets and killer kicks, on and off the court the ballers scored perfect 10s with their style. Here's are our best dressed athletes of NBA All-Star 2016.
5. Andrew Wiggins
The Canadian-native sure made a splash this weekend at all things NBA All-Star in his hometown of Toronto. Keeping it casual, young and trendy, Andrew Wiggins stayed true to his sense of fashion. The 20-year-old's most impressive look was his Saturday night outfit featuring a Giuseppe Zanotti Metallic Python Biker Jacket from their spring/summer 2016 collection.
4. Draymond Green
Draymond Green sure knows how to stay warm and get noticed in a statement jacket. This past weekend he had two pretty amazing looks featuring bright and bold jackets. The first was on Friday night at the celebrity all-star game. Green wore a custom-made wool jacket complete with a fur collar created by his personal stylish Vick Michel. On Saturday night the Bay area pro-baller was spotted in a bright yellow biker jacket with silver zippers.
3. Dwyane Wade
He's always dressed to impress and this past weekend was no exception. D. Wade made layering look easy with all of his outfits. From rocking a Valentino native couture embroidered pea coat layered with a DSquared fur-lined parka on top, he def showed his fashion A-Game. Plus he had the perfect accessory with him everywhere he went, his super stylish and gorgeous wife Gabrielle Union.
2. Chris Paul
Chris Paul was dropping dimes on and off the hardwood during All-Star 2016, especially in the fashion department. All of his looks were chic, stylish and looked so warm. Our fave was his most dressed up ensemble for a Jordan event. CP3 rocked a Tom Ford shirt, DSquared velvet tuxedo jacket, Maison Margiela overcoat, D&G pants and Air Jordan 1 sneakers. To pair a tuxedo look with kicks and still look 100% GQ is pretty darn amazing.
1. Russell Westbrook
Four days in the city, four killer outfits. It's easy to say that the MVP of the 2016 All-Star Game was also the MVP of fashion during the weekend of festivities. From the minute he touched down in the 6ix, Russell Westbrook didn't let the cold weather freeze his style game. The Cali-native brought his cool west coast swag to the north. Our fave look was his Saturday night denim-on-denim ensemble as known as the Canadian tuxedo.
For his fearless take on style and versatility, Russell Westbrook is our Style Jock of the Week! Here's a breakdown of his looks:
Day 1- Media Day: Who wears short shorts? Russell Westbrook does and in the winter! He was spotted walking around the streets of Toronto in his own Westbrook frames, shorts, tights and a Fear of God bomber.
Day 2- Friday Night: Westbrook is looking dapper in a $5245 Givenchy Persian-print long coat and gold Jordans.
Day 3- Saturday Night Skills Competition: With such a fun night, it's only right Russell rock a fun look to go with it. Rocking denim-on-denim, also known as the Canadian tuxedo, the OKC star was wore a Supreme hat and a $1595 Fear of God denim deckcoat.
