Star QB Russell Wilson is joining the fashion industry by creating a one-of-a-kind charitable clothing line. Wilson teamed up with men’s apparel line Good Man Brand and his own Why Not You Foundation to produce a collection that help at-risk kids.
The collection was launched at Nordstrom and for every item purchased, $3 will be donated to the Why Not You Foundation. From t-shirts, blazers, shoes and shorts you can definitely wear these clothes during a night out on the town or a fancy dinner all for a good cause.
The clothes are a bit expensive (a t-shirt is $76), but to Wilson it’s more than making a fashion statement. "It's more than fashion, it's about effecting change," Wilson told the Huffington Post. "That's what we're really after." The 27-year-old took to Instagram to share his excitement about the line with fans and fashion-loves at the launch event.
The best thing about the line is its fashion with a purpose and it’s amazing the Seattle Seahawks star is combining the two to create such a unique collection. The line's slogan says it all'', "Lead. Inspire. Live." and especially for his good guy persona in the league, it’s great he’s living and breathing hat he believes in.
