Looks like Carmelo Anthony will be busy this off-season and it won't with with the New York Knicks. Anthony has teamed up with Macy's and Nickelodeon to create a line of activewear and accessories for boys inspired by The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Releasing in May, the capsule collection features graphic t-shirts, shorts, hoodies, pajamas, basketballs and a over-the-door basketball net that kids can hang in their room. The collection comes out right in time for the sixth "TMNT" movie slate to release in June, which the Knicks forward makes an appearance.
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Melo Collection costs between $20-$35 and will be available in-store and online at macys.com until it's sold out. The NBA All-Star has been a fan of Michaelangelo, Leonardo, Raphael and Donatello since he was a kid. He's super excited about the collaboration saying, “I grew up on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, so to be able to partner on a boys’ collection with Nickelodeon and Macy’s goes beyond my wildest dreams. As a kid, they were one of the first cartoons I gravitated to.”
We can't wait to see all the adorable things Melo will create for the collection and see his designer side really shine. Carmelo also showed his pride about he collection on Instagram.
